So instead we ordered 2 burgers and 2 steak and ale pies. Burgers smelled of fish. Fries and veg were cold. Waitress didnt know what soup of the day they had, didnt realize they were out of chicken burgers either. Pastry on the steak and ale pies was white (as if microwaved). Sent 80% of it back uneaten and was still charged almost £40.00. Will NEVER EVER go back. Wouldnt have served this food to my dogs. TERRIBLE. Poor bar made took an earful off us and was told she could take off the pies and 1 pint, so that makes it even worse that it was almost £40 for 2 beef burgers that smelled of fish served with cold chips, 2 pints guiness, 1 larger and black, 1 j2o and one lemonade.
- Mo Minton Review added: 2018.04.26★ ★ ★ ★ ★Made a family visit yesterday for our son in law's birthday. The carvery was sublime. All fresh food, meat selection delicious. Staff very pleasant, polite and accommodating. The Red house is very comfortable, hygiene excellent. There were 13 of us and a newborn , we all enjoyed every aspect of our Sunday lunch. Thank you Red House
